At the beginning of December, we start the month with a competition designing holiday greeting cards. The rules are simple! Be original, and design the front of a greeting card. (Sometimes, we have people go above and beyond and write the inside greetings too.) The winner will then get special recognition during the holiday season.
Within Beacon walls, we have incredibly talented Individuals. From artists, to musicians, crafters, and more, the creativity is brewing and fabulous. It’s always difficult to select a champion artist. The bonus of being a champion? The champion card design becomes the greeting card for the entire company.
At the end of the year, we showcase the artist and utilize their greeting card (and sometimes their message if it is provided) and mail it to everyone on our seasonal holiday list. We like to share the holiday joy with all, and hopefully everyone participates and feels the magical experience and excitement of the season.
