The holidays are magical and Beacon wants everyone to join the fun! With small competitions throughout the year, it allows Individuals to feel encouraged and have something to look forward to. In December, we have our artists design greeting cards.

Judith Heumann showed the world that having a disability didn’t change anything, but struggles came because of society’s reaction to the disability. She overcame many obstacles, accomplished greatness, and paved the way for a greater tomorrow with her brilliance, advocacy, and leadership abilities.

Communication with the eyes takes mastery skills. Q, a person-supported at Beacon Specialized Living, has been thriving with eye gaze as a form of speech within his home.
