In October 2023, Beacon expanded in New Jersey by acquiring the assets of Enable, Inc., a not-for-profit provider of residential and community living services for individuals with I/DD. The results speak for themselves.

Independent income or discounted cash flow analysis and comparable market analyses to determine fair market value.
Board Approval
Formal vote and resolution by the Board of Directors ensuring the process aligns with the organization's mission.
Charitable Foundation Conversion
Proceeds from the conversion transfer to a charitable foundation to continue supporting the population in that market.
Attorney General Review
Review of the transaction for conformity to antitrust law and charitable foundation law under state statute.
State Approval
Submit plan of conversion to the state's relevant agency for review and respond to any questions or modification requests.
