Group Homes and Adult Foster Care in Michigan
Beacon-Michigan operates adult foster care homes across more than two dozen counties, licensed by LARA. We serve adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness, and co-occurring conditions, including individuals with complex support needs that many other providers are not equipped to manage. Clinical and nursing oversight is integrated into each home’s staffing model.

In-Home Supported Living in Ohio
In Ohio, Beacon provides supported living services certified by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) through the Individual Options (IO) Waiver. People supported through Beacon-Ohio live in their own homes in the community and receive staff support that reflects their individual waiver-funded service plan, including homemaker and personal care services, remote monitoring technology, and adult day support.

Residential Programs in Pennsylvania
Beacon serves adults with developmental disabilities in Pennsylvania through group homes, supported living in individual apartments, and Life Sharing arrangements with trained host families, all regulated by the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP). Staff are available around the clock in group home settings, and nursing and behavioral support services are tailored to each resident’s needs.
