From anxiety, autism, and co-occurring/SUD, to developmental disabilities, PTSD, schizophrenia, or borderline personality disorder we help individuals with a variety of mental illnesses, developmental disabilities, behaviors, and chronic conditions.

We assist individuals with co-occurring behavioral health and intellectual/developmental disabilities (BHIDD) by offering personalized care, support, and guidance in daily living activities within their own community setting. We collaborate with individuals and their families to create tailored plans that promote self-sufficiency, enhance life skills, and ensure access to necessary resources and services both within and outside of the Beacon Specialized Living umbrella.
We provide intensive support for individuals who have been boarding in hospitals, jails, and homeless shelters due to experiencing behavioral or mental health crisis. We offer a safe, trauma-informed, structured environment with integrated care to address immediate needs. This program focuses on de-escalation, Positive Behavior Support, individualized care planning, and skill-building to help individuals regain stability and thrive in their communities.
We have a team of Licensed Behavior Analysts and Registered Behavior Technicians that use evidence-based techniques to support individuals with BHIDD in building essential life skills, improving communication, and reducing challenging behaviors. These services are tailored to each individual’s needs, focusing on promoting independence, enhancing quality of life, and fostering greater integration into their community.
We host group classes that provide individuals with BHIDD opportunities to learn and practice interpersonal skills in a supportive, interactive, peer-focused environment. These classes are designed to enhance communication, build healthy relationships, and improve social confidence through guided activities, role-playing, and collaborative learning experiences.
We ensure that individuals receiving care have their health needs monitored and managed by a registered nurse who oversees the implementation of healthcare plans and medication administration. This service focuses on promoting health and safety by providing professional guidance, training for caregivers, and regular assessments to address the medical needs of individuals across Beacon Specialized Living programs.
We connect individuals with BHIDD to host families or caregivers who provide a supportive home environment and personalized care. This service emphasizes fostering meaningful relationships and community inclusion while ensuring the individual receives assistance with daily living activities, personal growth, and access to resources.
We provide individuals with the opportunity to develop and enhance life skills, social abilities, and personal independence in a structured, community-based environment. This service focuses on engaging participants in activities that promote personal growth, communication, and integration into the broader community, helping them achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
