Residential Services
Beacon Is a Place to Call Home
Our caregiver homes offer safe, comfortable, family-style community living.
Residential Habilitation Homes
At our residential habilitation homes, we provide safe and licensed living spaces where trained staff are available 24 hours a day. Our main goal is to ensure that each resident’s needs are met effectively. We encourage residents to make choices about their daily lives and participate in activities in the community. Our staff creates personalized plans for each resident, helping them develop everyday living skills. We also assist with transportation and offer chances for social activities and fun. In our group homes, we provide nursing and behavioral support services tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident. This way, everyone receives the right care and support while enjoying a full life. Whether through health monitoring, training, or community involvement, we strive to create a nurturing environment where everyone can thrive and grow.
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs/IADLs)
We provide training and support to help people learn important daily living skills. This includes things like dressing themselves, taking care of personal hygiene, and cooking meals. We also teach skills for shopping, managing money, and keeping their homes clean. Additionally, we encourage community participation, helping individuals feel more connected and involved. Our goal is to empower people to live independently and confidently by developing these essential skills for everyday life.
Transportation
Individuals are taken to appointments, shopping, visitations or community events.
Life Sharing
Life Sharing is a special way for people to live together and share their daily lives. In this kind of setup, individuals can stay with families who offer support and care. This creates a warm and nurturing household where everyone helps each other. People in Life Sharing can share their experiences, learn new things, and make lasting friendships. It is a wonderful opportunity for individuals to feel connected, valued, and understood while enjoying a safe and loving home environment.
Medication Compliance
Our staff ensures medication compliance, administration, and monitoring.
Healthy Eating
Our staff ensures home-prepared nutritious meals and snacks and accommodate specialized dietary needs.
Supported Living
Supported Living is a care model designed to help people live independently in their own homes or apartments. This approach means that individuals can enjoy their personal space while still receiving the support they need. The goal is to empower people to take charge of their own lives and make choices that suit them. Support can include help with daily tasks, like cooking, cleaning, or managing money. Services may also include guidance for medical needs or assistance with social activities. By focusing on individual goals, Supported Living encourages people to develop skills and gain confidence. It is about finding a balance where people feel safe and comfortable, while also having the freedom to live as they choose. With the right support, many individuals find they can lead fulfilling lives, build relationships, and become active members of their communities. This helps create a better quality of life, making independence a reachable goal for many.
Care Coordination
We coordinate and integrate needed mental health and physical health services.
Personal Care Services
Our staff assists with basic needs and daily self-care, like bathing, tooth brushing, toileting, etc.
