This Handbook contains the Beacon policies and procedures in an outline form and is meant to serve as a reference guide. The policies and benefits described are not conditions of employment, and do not reflect a contract between Beacon and its employees. Beacon reserves the unilateral right to add, delete, or amend these policies and benefits provided for in this handbook. Employees should feel free to contact their supervisor or any member
of management with questions concerning the contents of this handbook. To ensure that you are reviewing the most current versions of Beacon’s policies and this handbook, go to Basecamp, www.beaconemployee.com.
WAIVER CLAUSE
I have been instructed as to the location of and will read the Employee Handbook and understand the material contained therein. I understand that I am required to comply with all the conditions set forth in the Handbook. I also understand that I have no reasonable expectation to believe these guidelines/policies will remain in effect indefinitely. I understand that this handbook does not constitute an expressed or implied contract for
employment. I further understand that this handbook does not constitute a contractual arrangement or agreement between Beacon and me.
PHOTO & TEXT MESSAGE RELEASE
I understand that Beacon may use photograph(s) or video(s) in various settings of its employees, including but not limited to the Beacon newsletter, general marketing material, display advertisements or website. Beacon will also periodically send out text message communication with general Beacon information. I understand that if I wish to not have my photograph used by Beacon or receive text messages, it is my responsibility to contact the Human
Resources Department to opt out.
DRUG POLICY & SUBSTANCE ABUSE
I will read the policy on Drug and Alcohol Use in this Handbook and any applicable market-specific policy on Basecamp. I agree to participate in the procedures that apply to me, and I grant my permission for the results to be disclosed to Beacon. I agree to cooperate fully in taking the substance screen test. I hereby release Beacon, its directors, officers, employees, agents and contractors from all liability, claims, and damages whatsoever that I may have for administration of the substance screen test.
PERSONNEL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
I have been instructed as to the location of the complete Personnel Policies & Procedures at www.beaconemployee.com that includes the State regulations by individual Beacon markets. I have been instructed that I am expected to review these and refer to them in an ongoing manner. I understand a copy of the Employee Benefit Guide can be found on Basecamp. I understand that I must complete the enrollment through ADP whether
enrolling or waiving.
