Why Training Matters:

As we move forward together, there are certain trainings we require to ensure consistency and alignment across all Beacon locations. These trainings are designed to familiarize you with Beacon’s approach to care, enhance your skills, and ensure you’re equipped to thrive in your role. While some of these topics may feel familiar, they’ll also introduce you to Beacon’s unique tools, processes, and resources.

  • You’ll receive $125 for completing required pre-close trainings.
  • An additional $125 will be provided for completing the trainings required within the first 30 days of our transition.

The week of close: February 17th
(Training and HR will provide on-the-ground support to get staff logged in to TMP and ADP)

  • TMP Competency Checks
  • Additional Training Support in TMP
  • ADP Log In
  • ADP Time Punch Training
  • PTO Requests

Staff will need to log in to LMS system and complete within 30-days of close
(Average DSP takes 12 hours to complete)

  • The rest of the orientation learning plan training modules
  • Clinical team will have ISP reviews signed off in TMP (after close)

Staff will be scheduled for skills trainings to complete within 90-days of close

  • CPI De-escalation training – 1 day
  • Life Vac training – (combined with CPI)
  • Tools of Choice Behavior Support training – 2 days
  • QPR Suicide prevention training – 2-hours virtual
  • Leadership Essentials – Two 2-hour virtual training sessions offered monthly for location managers who supervise DSPs

Will my role and responsibilities change?

Will my pay day change? 

Beacon’s pay periods are biweekly; pay days are every other Friday. In the coming weeks your pay will align with this schedule. More details will be communicated soon.

Will how I am paid change?

Currently, there are no plans to change base wages.

Will my supervisor change?

Your current supervisor remains unchanged for now. Leadership adjustments may occur later as needed, with clear communication and notice provided to ensure a smooth transition.

How will my benefits be impacted?

Beacon is pleased to offer full-time employees medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and employer-paid life insurance. Employees are also able to enroll in ancillary products such as life/AD&D, short and long-term disability and more! Benefit enrollment information will be coming soon.

Will the company name change?

Fidelis will change to Beacon Specialized Living- Missouri.

Have you developed any short and long-range plans?

Our short-term plan is to get to know you and what you do.  We want to meet and spend time with you and the individuals you serve.  We want to learn how you get the job done.

Our long-range plan is to continue to provide the best care for vulnerable individuals, strive to remain an employer of choice in our field, offer career advancement opportunities to employees, and as an organization grow to meet areas of person-centered need. To achieve this, we will continue to grow, adding new lines of services that can benefit from our core services and capabilities. We are continually assessing our markets, new markets, and changes in healthcare policy to ensure we are prepared to thrive regardless of these changes. We believe we can influence national policy making and gain support and funding to improve access and programming for people with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism.
