High Behavior Day Program Support

Eves Day Program is dedicated to providing a safe, therapeutic, and highly structured environment for individuals navigating complex behavioral challenges. We are fully equipped to support participants exhibiting high-intensity behaviors—including physical aggression, self-injury, property destruction, and verbal threats, as well as those managing suicidal or homicidal ideation. Our expertly trained staff is skilled in proactive, trauma-informed interventions to safely manage safety-critical actions like elopement (darting), disrobing, dropping or flopping, and food stealing, while providing supportive, dignified care for automatic self-stimulatory behaviors. By focusing on root causes and positive behavior support plans, we ensure every individual receives the compassionate, specialized care they need to navigate difficult moments and build meaningful daily skills.

To keep the Individuals we serve active, engaged, and socializing, we offer a vibrant range of structured in-program activities tailored to different interests and abilities. The day kicks off with morning exercise and stretching to promote physical wellness, which we follow up with high-energy activities like dancing, karaoke, basketball, bag toss, and magnetic darts. For those who enjoy creative expression and mental stimulation, we provide hands-on arts and crafts, a weekly food activity, and a variety of interactive games and puzzles. These group activities are not only fun, but they are also intentionally designed to build social skills, coordination, and cooperative teamwork in a supportive environment.

Beyond behavioral support and recreational activities, our program is deeply committed to helping participants build independence and confidence through daily living skills. We provide hands-on, patient guidance with personal hygiene essentials like brushing teeth and washing hands to promote healthy, everyday routines. Additionally, we work together on practical household tasks—including washing dishes, sorting items, setting the table, sweeping the floor, and emptying the garbage. By mastering these foundational, everyday chores in a supportive environment, our participants gain valuable life skills that foster a sense of responsibility, accomplishment, and self-reliance.

Connecting with the local community is a vital part of our program, and we love getting out to explore and build real-world social skills together. Our regular outings include fun shopping trips to local stores and the community mall, as well as relaxing visits to the local library and the movies.

We also make the most of beautiful days with trips to nearby parks and playgrounds, always making sure to wrap up our adventures with a sweet treat like water ice or ice cream. These community excursions are carefully structured to help our participants practice navigation, socialization, and independence in a fun, supportive, and safe public setting.

Our program’s greatest strength lies in our exceptionally qualified, on-site team and our highly accessible yet private setting. We are staffed by professionals who receive weekly Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) training and hold certifications in both First Aid/CPR and Handle With Care crisis intervention. With our Care Team Manager, Program Director, a dedicated Burlington County nurse, and two Burlington County behavior specialists all based out of this location daily, our participants receive unparalleled clinical and supervisory support.

Strategically located with easy access to the local communities of Cherry Hill and Mt. Laurel, our facility offers a peaceful, private setting that remains highly accessible for community outings. To make attendance as seamless as possible for families, we also provide convenient transportation for participants living within a 12-mile radius.
